First Tower Completed for Creag Dhubh-Dalmally Power Line

BREAKING: The first tower has just been completed for the new overhead line (OHL) connecting Creag Dhubh to Dalmally. This significant milestone was announced today, marking a crucial step in enhancing electricity distribution across the region.

The Creag Dhubh to Dalmally OHL will stretch approximately 13.3 kilometres and will be supported by 47 galvanised steel lattice towers. These towers are engineered to carry two circuits and feature advanced optical fibre ground wires, aimed at bolstering network resilience and improving communication capabilities.

The completion of this first tower is not just a technical achievement; it represents an urgent need for improved infrastructure in the area. As energy demands continue to rise, this project is set to play a pivotal role in ensuring reliable power supply for local communities.

Officials have confirmed that the new line will enhance service delivery and reduce the risk of outages, which have plagued the area in recent years. This development is expected to have a positive impact on local businesses and residents alike, providing them with more stable and efficient energy solutions.

The construction phase is rapidly advancing, with further updates anticipated in the coming weeks. The project is overseen by leading energy authorities, who are committed to maintaining transparency and keeping the public informed.

Stay tuned for more updates as this critical infrastructure project progresses. This development is not just about energy; it’s about empowering communities and supporting local economies through reliable power access.
