The incident occurred around 1:00 PM today on the westbound stretch between Junction 5 at the Stockbury Interchange near Sittingbourne and Junction 4 at the Brooms Wood Interchange near Hempstead.

– Exit the M2 at Junction 5 and join the southbound A249.
– Continue on the A249 to Junction 7 of the M20.
– Merge onto the M20 westbound.
– Exit the M20 at Junction 4 and join the A228 northbound.
– Follow the A228 northbound back to Junction 2 of the M2.
