Urgent Investigation Launches After Police Car Crash in Kensington

UPDATE: A 29-year-old man is now under investigation following a shocking crash involving a police car and a suspected stolen Sur-ron bike in Kensington on January 13, 2025. The incident unfolded around 3:25 PM on Stamford Street, leaving witnesses horrified.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing screams of “my leg, my leg” as the police car, which was pursuing the bike, collided with the rider. The police confirmed that the bike was being operated at excessive speeds and on pavements in the area prior to the crash.

The rider sustained serious leg injuries and was transported to the hospital for urgent assessment. He was initially arrested on multiple road traffic offenses but has since been de-arrested to focus on his medical care and remains in stable condition.
