Adam Frisby, founder of the fashion brand In The Style, and his fiancé, Jamie Corbett, have joyfully announced the arrival of their daughter. The couple welcomed their baby girl on January 16, 2026, through surrogacy in Connecticut. The news was shared on Instagram, where they expressed their overwhelming love and excitement for their new family member.
Emotional Announcement on Social Media
In a heartfelt post, Frisby, 38, described the experience as life-changing. He wrote, “I don’t even have the words to describe this feeling. Our baby girl was born, weighing 6 lbs 15 oz, and she is absolutely perfect.” The couple shared intimate photos of their first moments with their daughter, including skin-to-skin contact that highlighted their new bond.
Frisby reflected on the significance of the day, noting the special pink sky that appeared prior to the birth. He recounted an emotional moment during the delivery when a nurse remarked that their daughter had “two perfectly placed red marks on her eyelids,” which she said indicated the baby was “kissed by an angel before entering the world.”
Acknowledging the Surrogate’s Role
The couple expressed deep gratitude towards their surrogate, Krista Scelza, for her role in bringing their child into the world. Frisby stated, “What she has done—carrying and protecting our daughter until she could meet her dads—is something we will be forever grateful for.” He acknowledged the emotional and physical challenges Scelza faced during the surrogacy process.
Frisby and Corbett’s journey to parenthood began in 2022, when they matched with a surrogate. Unfortunately, they experienced heartbreak last year when their first surrogate suffered a miscarriage and withdrew from the agreement. “It was gutting for us after three years,” Frisby shared. Following that setback, they had to find a new surrogate, which they eventually did after several unsuccessful matches.
Since announcing the birth, the couple has received an outpouring of support from friends and family, including celebratory messages from fellow celebrities. Influencer Perrie Sian commented, “I’m crying again! Cannot believe she is finally here… she is absolutely beautiful.” Other friends, including reality star Charlotte Crosby, expressed their joy and anticipation for the couple’s future with their daughter.
