The police in Danilovgrad conducted a raid on January 10, 2024, resulting in the seizure of illegal firearms from a residence. Acting on a court order from the Basic Court of Danilovgrad, officers executed a search at the apartment of a 22-year-old resident, identified as J.K. from Podgorica.
During the operation, law enforcement officials discovered and confiscated a CZ-83 pistol, chambered in 7.65 mm, complete with a magazine. Additionally, they recovered an air rifle and an underwater gun equipped with a harpoon.
The police force emphasized that this raid forms part of heightened efforts to combat violence and the illegal possession of weapons in the region.
Following the incident, the Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica was informed about the developments. The prosecutor will assess the case further after reviewing all necessary documentation and evidence collected during the search. This evaluation will help determine the legal classification of J.K.’s actions and any subsequent legal proceedings.
