A woman’s body has been recovered from the River Zeta following a five-day search effort. Divers from the Regional Diving Center Bijela located the body in the area near Vukovac Bridge. The search commenced after the woman’s car plunged into the swollen Moraca River on February 9, 2024, close to the Luča Bridge.
The search operation was challenging due to adverse weather conditions and the river’s strong currents. According to Danilo Mijajlović, director of the Regional Diving Center, the recovery was conducted with great care, reflecting the team’s commitment to finding the missing woman.
Authorities initiated the search immediately after the vehicle was reported to have fallen into the river.
