Forest Live Concert Series Expands Line-Up for 2024 Celebration

The popular outdoor concert series, Forest Live, is set to return to Cannock Chase from June 24 to June 28, 2024, featuring an expanded line-up of support acts. This five-day event will showcase an array of musical talent in the scenic Birches Valley, drawing thousands of music lovers to enjoy open-air performances.

Among the newly announced acts, renowned house producer Lizzie Curious and versatile performer LP Giobbi will join party legend Fatboy Slim on June 25. Additionally, Katie Owen will kick off the series with a DJ set for global music icon Billy Ocean on the opening day. Other notable performers include former Wet Wet Wet singer Marti Pellow, reggae artist Bitty McLean, and the band Remember Monday, all supporting headliners such as Becky Hill and UB40 ft. Ali Campbell.

Forest Live is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, organized by Forestry England, which manages the nation’s forests. A spokesperson for the organization noted, “Tickets for the series are selling fast, with UB40 ft. Ali Campbell already sold out at Cannock Chase Forest, so booking early is advised.”

Historical Significance and Community Impact

The concert series has a rich history, with over two million attendees enjoying performances in the past quarter-century. This event not only provides entertainment but also supports vital conservation efforts. The funds raised through Forest Live help maintain the UK’s 1,500 woods and forests, ensuring they remain accessible for everyone. In the previous year, Forestry England planted approximately 7.4 million trees and welcomed 313 million visits across its sites.

The partnership with Live Nation‘s Cuffe & Taylor marks the third consecutive year of collaboration, reflecting a commitment to delivering high-quality musical experiences in stunning natural settings. The upcoming anniversary celebrations in 2026 promise to feature remarkable performances across four forest venues, including Delamere Forest, High Lodge Thetford Forest, and Westonbirt Arboretum.

As excitement builds for the 2024 event, attendees can look forward to a unique blend of world-class music and the beauty of the English countryside, a hallmark of the Forest Live experience.
