In contrast, only 9.81% of reviews for this location are one-star ratings.
The Wincanton McDonald’s, situated on Lawrence Hill, boasts an overall Google rating of 4.1 stars. This evaluation is based on an analysis of Google reviews across all McDonald’s restaurants in England, focusing on the percentage of positive and negative feedback. The research highlights not only the popularity of the Wincanton branch but also offers insights into customer satisfaction across the country.

Marc Porcar, CEO of Remove Background, commented on the findings, noting that while high-rated McDonald’s locations are distributed throughout England, the southern regions show a notable dominance in the rankings. He pointed out that Norwich, located in Norfolk, stands out with two locations appearing in the top ten.
Porcar explained, “All McDonald’s serve the same menu; however, it is clearly more enjoyed in certain locations. This could be down to many different factors, such as cleanliness, service speed, and staff friendliness.” He encouraged anyone near a top-rated McDonald’s to consider stopping by, as these locations have been recognized as favorites among customers.
Conversely, the research also identified the lowest-rated McDonald’s in the country, located in Chingford, Greater London. This branch has 36.49% of its reviews rated one star, with only 24.07% of customers giving it five stars, resulting in a Google rating of 2.8 stars.
