UPDATE: A 20-year-old man was hospitalized following a shocking stabbing incident at the Donnington Bonfire event in Telford on November 8. Authorities from West Mercia Police responded to reports of an assault at the Broadoaks Playing Field around 8:30 PM.
The victim was swiftly transported to Royal Stoke University Hospital, where he remains in stable condition. Meanwhile, police have made significant progress in the case, arresting an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of attempted murder. Both suspects have since been released on bail as the investigation continues.
