A former girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein has made serious allegations against former President Donald Trump, claiming she was delivered to him by Epstein to be “groped.” Stacey Williams, who was a swimsuit model in the 1990s, shared her story during a CNN interview on Thursday. This renewed scrutiny follows the release of thousands of Epstein’s private emails by the House Oversight Committee.
Williams, who dated Epstein during the 1990s, responded to an email in which Epstein bragged about having “given” one of his girlfriends to Trump in 1993. She stated, “It screams about, you know, the mindset of these men. The same two men who did what they did to me when Jeffrey Epstein walked me into Donald Trump’s office to be groped by him. Clearly, we are these objects, these trophies, and it’s deeply misogynistic. It’s horrifying.”
Her allegations are not new; Williams first disclosed them in 2024, claiming Trump touched her inappropriately at Trump Tower in 1993. At that time, the White House dismissed her accusations as “unequivocally false,” according to reports from The Guardian.
On Friday, Trump responded to the allegations, accusing Democrats of attempting to revive what he called the “Epstein Hoax.” The Independent has reached out to the White House for further comment on the matter.
Epstein, who was arrested in 2019 for sex trafficking of minors, died in prison that same year while awaiting trial. His death was ruled a suicide, but it has continued to spark controversy and speculation.
During her conversation with CNN’s Erin Burnett, Williams elaborated on her experience, stating, “I clearly was delivered there for the groping. I had shared with Jeffrey Epstein that I was somewhat combative with men in the fashion industry. So I believed I was walked in there as a challenge, and when I froze and didn’t respond, Jeffrey got very upset about it. He expected a fight.”
Williams’ comments come in the wake of a House discharge petition, which has garnered enough support to prompt a vote on releasing the Department of Justice’s files related to Epstein. Four Republicans, including Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert, have signed the measure. House Speaker Mike Johnson has indicated that a vote on the petition will take place next week.
Reflecting on the role of legislative officials in addressing issues related to Epstein, Williams remarked, “I’ve never understood the role of legislative officials in protecting pedophiles. If some of them are finally arriving at some moral clarity, that’s a good thing. Transparency is critical.”
As the political landscape shifts in response to these allegations, Williams’ testimony highlights ongoing concerns regarding accountability and transparency among powerful figures.
