BREAKING NEWS: The layout for a new Five Guys drive-thru in Coventry has just been unveiled, as both Five Guys and Popeyes prepare to open fast-food outlets at the popular Arena Park car park. The latest developments indicate that construction for both restaurants is nearing completion, with critical planning approvals pending.
According to CoventryLive, Five Guys has submitted a request to the city council to discharge a condition of their planning permission, which pertains to a detailed service management plan. This plan outlines the layout of the new venture, including a visual representation of the drive-thru’s location and dedicated delivery bays.
The proposed delivery schedule will see deliveries occurring between 8 PM and 8 AM, utilizing 26 Tonne Rigid Lorries. Initially, deliveries will happen six times a week, later transitioning to three times a week. Delivery drivers will have access to a key for the bollards at the entrance to the delivery bay, located between the two drive-thrus.
The new drive-thru cannot officially open until all final planning conditions are approved, leaving the opening dates for both eateries still unconfirmed. This development is situated near the Coventry Building Society Arena, a bustling area expected to attract significant foot traffic.
