Fans Demand Trial for Martin Kemp as ‘I’m A Celebrity’ Unfolds

Viewers of ITV’s reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! are expressing their disappointment over the lack of challenge opportunities for campmate Martin Kemp. As the eliminations commence, fans are calling for Kemp to be given a chance to participate in a Bushtucker trial after not facing one since his arrival in the jungle nearly two weeks ago.

During the episode that aired on November 29, the camp received a laminate outlining the day’s challenge, titled ‘Wrecking Balls of Rage’. Contestants were tasked with selecting among themselves who would take on the trial. Vogue Williams quickly volunteered, believing her physical abilities would serve her well in the demanding obstacle course.

As Williams prepared for her first solo Bushtucker trial, show presenters Ant and Dec explained the challenge. She was required to navigate a large course, collect stars from slime-filled buckets, and return them to a designated slot without falling into the water. Each star could only be carried one at a time, and she had to begin on a spinner that would whirl her around before starting her run.

When the klaxon sounded, Williams was eager to begin. However, she was quickly knocked off course by a large inflatable ball, exclaiming, “Jesus! This is harder than I thought it would be!” Despite her efforts to tackle the trial, viewers were left feeling frustrated that Kemp was not selected by his fellow campmates to participate.

The first elimination of the season saw Alex Scott voted off, raising stakes as the competition heats up. Fans took to social media to voice their sentiments, with one viewer stating, “I just wanna see Martin do a proper trial #ImACeleb.” Another chimed in, “Can y’all let Martin do a trial god #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity.”

Many viewers expressed their desire to see more of Kemp’s participation, urging others to vote for him in upcoming trials. “Vote Martin for the next trial, he’s so desperate to do one #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity #imacelebrityunpacked,” said a dedicated fan.

As the series continues, anticipation builds around the next episode, which airs at 9 PM on ITV and ITVX. With the competition intensifying, fans remain hopeful that Kemp will soon have his chance to shine in the trials.
