URGENT UPDATE: Renowned artist Rambo Amadeus has just released a provocative new single titled “Može li jedan selfie” as part of his promotional campaign for an upcoming concert on December 20, 2023, at the Dom sindikata in Belgrade.
In a candid post on his official Facebook page, Amadeus expresses his frustration with the pervasive “selfie culture,” stating that it significantly impacts personal dignity and leads to a troubling dilemma: to conform or to resist. He elaborates, “This habit tires me immensely, distracts me, and destroys my personal dignity.”
The artist describes the song as an “artistic reaction” to the frustrations stemming from this cultural phenomenon. He goes on to reveal that the single was born from a deep internal conflict about self-perception in a world obsessed with personal branding.
Amadeus not only wrote the music and lyrics himself but also handled the arrangement. The mix and mastering were entrusted to Relja Svilar, while fellow musicians contributed their talents: Vojno Dizdar on keyboards, Saša Ranković on drums, Miroslav Tovirac on bass, and Amadeus himself on guitar.
The release is accompanied by a visually striking music video created by Darko Vlaovic, who utilized artificial intelligence to generate visuals that complement the song’s themes.
This latest release resonates deeply with contemporary audiences, capturing the essence of modern anxieties surrounding identity and self-image. As Amadeus prepares for his concert, fans are encouraged to engage with the new single and share their thoughts on social media.
