Children from HDC Nursery have recently traded their sandpits for straw bales, embarking on a series of hands-on visits to Abbrook Farm in Newton Abbot. This initiative, organized by a partnership between the nursery, Teign School, and the farm, provided children ranging from infants to preschool age with the opportunity to connect with the outdoors while learning about animals and food production.
The visits to Abbrook Farm allowed the young participants to engage directly with a variety of animals, including geese and pigs.
