“I had my last treatment on December 20, 2022, and the next two, three months were the hardest of the entire journey,” Olmos recounted. “Once they stopped all of the chemo, all the radiation and all the treatment, that’s when the body gave up.”
Despite the hardships, Olmos expressed gratitude for his recovery and the opportunity to continue his acting career, stating that his work is “the essence of living” for him now. He emphasized the joy he feels in being able to return to his craft after such a tumultuous period.
