Artistic Licence, a Pembrokeshire-based theatre company, will present the classic comedy Noises Off at the Torch Theatre from February 5 to 7, 2026. This production brings together a cast entirely composed of local performers, showcasing talent from the region. The ensemble includes Kerry Steed, Marcus Lewis, Alex Jukes, Laura Barrett, Will Oliver, Janine Lewis, Frank Tobin, Hun Benbow, and Chloe Wheeler.
First staged by the National Theatre, Noises Off is recognized as one of the greatest farces ever written. This production will highlight the comedic chaos of a theatre company as their performance spirals out of control both on stage and backstage. Known for its clever writing, the play features a series of humorous mishaps, including slamming doors and flying sardines, making it a delightful experience for theatre enthusiasts.
The creators of Artistic Licence, including Carol Mackintosh, Trisha Biffen, and Marcus Lewis, aim to provide opportunities for local actors to shine while delivering quality performances to audiences.
