Bannatyne Health Club Spreads Holiday Joy Through Charity Appeal

Bannatyne Health Club Livingston has joined the festive spirit by serving as a donation point for the Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas appeal. This initiative aims to provide gifts for children who would otherwise face a Christmas morning without presents. Over the past month, members and local residents have generously contributed toys and gifts at the Charlesfield Road location, assisting families in Livingston and West Lothian who are grappling with the increasing cost of living.

The Mission Christmas campaign encourages communities to ensure that there is “Christmas for every child.” It addresses the challenges faced by families forced to make difficult decisions between heating their homes and purchasing food. This year, the need is particularly urgent as many households struggle to make ends meet.

Duncan Bannatyne, Chief Executive and Chairman of the Bannatyne Group, expressed his support for the initiative, saying, “Mission Christmas is a campaign that makes a real difference to children and families who need support at what should be a magical time of year.” He added, “The generosity shown by our members and the local Livingston community has been humbling, and we are proud to have played our part.”

In recognition of the community’s contributions, Bannatyne Health Club Livingston also offered complimentary guest passes for members to share with friends or family members. This gesture not only acknowledges the donors but also encourages continued participation in community-building efforts.

Bannatyne Health Club Livingston is one of eight clubs across Scotland supporting Cash for Kids by acting as official drop-off points for the campaign. The collaboration highlights the impact local businesses can have in addressing social challenges, especially during the holiday season.

As the festive season approaches, the efforts of Bannatyne Health Club Livingston and its supporters exemplify the spirit of giving, ensuring that many children in the area will experience joy and warmth this Christmas.
