Bethesda Chapel in Narberth is hosting a variety of community services and events throughout December, inviting all to participate. The schedule includes a coffee morning, prayer meetings, and Bible study sessions, catering to different age groups and interests.
On Thursday, December 11, at 10:00, the chapel will hold a Coffee Morning specifically for individuals over the age of 50 in the Schoolroom. This event aims to foster social connections within the community.
The following Sunday, December 14, begins with a series of services starting at 10:25. The day features a Men’s Prayer Meeting held in the Study Room, followed by Sunday School at 10:30 in the Upper Room. The Morning Service will commence at 10:45 in the Sanctuary, concluding with tea, coffee, and cake available for attendees downstairs. The Evening Service will take place at 17:30 in the Sanctuary, after which refreshments will be served in the Schoolroom.
On Tuesday, December 16, the chapel will host several events starting at noon with a popular Bible study session in the Schoolroom. This will be followed by a Listening Post at 13:30, offering finger foods, coffee, and an opportunity for friendly conversation. At 16:45, the Rooted and Grounded catechism study will take place in the Study Room, leading to a Fellowship Meal at 17:30 in the Schoolroom. The day will conclude with a Prayer Meeting at 18:30, also in the Schoolroom.
The chapel emphasizes the importance of community support and spiritual growth, reminding attendees of the message from 1 Peter 3:17: “For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.”
