Community Gathers for Remembrance Sunday Services in Narberth

The Narberth Benefice has extended an invitation to the local community for a series of remembrance services taking place during this year’s Remembrance Sunday. The ceremonies will honor the courage and sacrifice of those who have served in conflicts, including those who continue to serve today.

On November 9, the community will gather for remembrance activities, culminating in observances for Armistice Day on November 11. The main events will occur at the Narberth Cenotaph, Templeton, and Holy Cross Church in Robeston Wathen at 10:45 AM. In addition, a service will take place at St Elidyr’s Church in Ludchurch starting at 10:50 AM.

Additional Community Engagement

The Narberth Benefice also offers opportunities for community involvement beyond remembrance events. A weekly singing group meets on Monday evenings, welcoming anyone who enjoys singing. Interested participants can contact Daphney James or other church members for further details.

In terms of accessibility to the community, Narberth, Robeston Wathen, and Minwear Churches open their doors from 10 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Saturday. Templeton and Ludchurch Churches follow a similar schedule, open every Wednesday during the same hours.

For further information, community members can reach out to the Rev’d Robert Moore at The Rectory, Adams Drive, Narberth, SA67 7AE. He is available by phone at 01834 861192 or via email at [email protected].

The Narberth Benefice encourages everyone to participate in these important events as a way to reflect on the sacrifices made for peace and freedom.
