A 42-year-old man from Plužine, identified as G.A., has been arrested on charges of allegedly abducting an 11-year-old minor against their will. The incident reportedly involved physical assault and threats made towards the child.
According to the Police Administration of Montenegro, G.A. is suspected of committing the crime of violent behavior in conjunction with unlawful deprivation of liberty. Authorities state that he forcibly took the minor to his apartment, where he allegedly threatened the child and inflicted injuries.

The police were alerted to the situation by witnesses who observed the events unfold. Officers from the Regional Centre for Security “West” quickly responded, locating G.A. and taking him into custody. Following his arrest, police conducted an alcohol test, revealing a blood alcohol concentration of 1.85 g/kg, indicating significant impairment.
The minor was subsequently taken to receive medical care, where doctors diagnosed them with minor physical injuries. The police promptly informed the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Niksic, as well as the prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica.
