Teenager Earns $300,000 Monthly Selling 3D-Printed Can Holders

A teenager from the United States is making waves in the e-commerce world by generating approximately $300,000 in monthly revenue from his company, Cruise Cup, which specializes in 3D-printed can holders. This remarkable success can be traced back to a viral video that featured Michael Saterly, who showcased his product while drinking a can of Dr Pepper.

In the widely viewed video, which has garnered over 50 million views on Instagram, Saterly demonstrates his “tactical can holder” in a playful manner. As he drinks from one can, a second can appears in the frame, and he effortlessly swaps them using his product. Viewers were captivated not only by the unique design but also by the impressive speed at which he seemed to consume the drink. Saterly later clarified that the drinking part was staged; he had already finished the can before shooting the video.

From Viral Video to Business Boom

The viral sensation significantly boosted Saterly’s e-commerce venture. His company, Cruise Cup, has seen explosive growth since the video’s release. In November 2025, Saterly’s sales reached an astonishing $300,000, as verified by Business Insider through a review of his Shopify dashboard.

Saterly’s entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 10 when he started mowing lawns for neighbors to earn extra cash. Over the years, he experimented with various business ideas, including creating a product that repels sand and founding a small company called Solefully, which produces clogs using 3D printing technology. His commitment to innovation and creativity has paid off, allowing him to refine his production processes.

“I’ve always been trying to make money,” Saterly shared. “When I started Cruise Cup, it was a game changer for me.”

Challenges of Rapid Demand

The success of Cruise Cup has not come without its challenges. Saterly explained that producing larger items can require significant time. A single item may take up to 10 hours to print, meaning fulfilling multiple orders can quickly become overwhelming. To meet the rising demand, he invested in multiple 3D printers, at times purchasing batches of 30 printers to keep up with orders.

Despite this challenge, the teenager remains enthusiastic about his business. Each product is crafted through 3D printing, showcasing his commitment to leveraging technology for innovation.

With demand for his unique can holders continuing to grow, Saterly’s entrepreneurial spirit shines brightly. His journey from a young boy trying to earn pocket money to a successful business owner serves as an inspiring example of how creativity and modern technology can lead to remarkable success.
