URGENT UPDATE: Dobbies is set to host its highly anticipated Christmas Shopping Night on December 6, 2023, at their Gailey location, with all ticket proceeds benefiting Alzheimer’s Research UK. Tickets are available at varying prices of £1, £2.50, and £5, and there’s a unique pay-what-you-can option, ensuring everyone can contribute to this vital cause.
The event will feature a plethora of festive activities, including fundraising efforts led by Alzheimer’s Research UK volunteers, who will manage raffles and donation buckets throughout the evening. Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of prosecco or a soft drink upon arrival, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
Attendees will also have the chance to visit Santa in his North Pole-themed Grotto and enjoy live performances from local community groups. Dobbies plans to showcase delightful in-store demos and tastings from their food hall and Bakery to Go, offering a light bite menu until 7:15 PM, featuring seasonal sandwiches and festive treats.
As part of the event, local schools and nurseries who excelled in Dobbies’ Community Christmas Tree campaign will receive their free real Christmas tree, reinforcing the community spirit of the evening.

Alzheimer’s Research UK, the UK’s leading dementia research charity, has partnered with Dobbies to raise awareness about the benefits of garden living for brain health while striving to find a cure for dementia. Since the partnership began in March, Dobbies has raised over £40,000 for the charity.
