UPDATE: King’s Academy Bay House School’s sixth form has just been recognized as one of the top 10 percent of A Level providers in the UK for the second consecutive year, following the prestigious ALPS (A Level Performance System) platinum award. This achievement, announced on November 27, 2025, underscores the school’s commitment to excellence in education.
The Gosport-based sixth form has demonstrated remarkable student progress between GCSEs and A Levels, marking a significant milestone for both students and faculty. Headteacher Chris Willis expressed pride in the recognition, stating, “To be formally recognized by ALPS as one of the top 10 percent of A Level providers nationally is a tremendous achievement for King’s Academy Bay House.”
This year’s impressive results reflect the hard work of the student body, with several achieving A* grades. Notably, 36 percent of students secured places at Russell Group universities, while an outstanding 89 percent gained admission to their first-choice universities. Among these achievers, four students are set to pursue medicine, and one will attend a conservatoire for performing arts.
