Lorraine Kelly Hosts Urgent STV Children’s Appeal Live Show

URGENT UPDATE: Live from Glasgow, TV icon Lorraine Kelly is set to host the STV Children’s Appeal Show on November 7, 2025, to celebrate another monumental year of fundraising for Scottish children in need. The special program will air at 7 PM (GMT) from STV’s Pacific Quay headquarters, showcasing the impactful work of the charity throughout 2025.

The STV Children’s Appeal, which has raised over £37 million since its inception in 2011, has been a lifeline for families affected by poverty across Scotland. This year’s broadcast promises to highlight three vital projects: Dundee Bairns, providing support to children in poverty; TCCL, aiding families with children battling cancer; and Happy Place Workshop, which fosters emotional expression through art and music.

Lorraine, a longstanding trustee of the Appeal, expressed her excitement: “Celebrating all the fundraisers and projects involved in the STV Children’s Appeal is always one of the highlights of my year,” she noted. “This year will be extra special as I’ll be presenting the Appeal Show live from STV HQ.” The show will include performances from SAINT PHNX, who will discuss their emotional project inspired by personal loss.

The Scottish Government continues to back the Appeal, matching up to £1 million annually. First Minister John Swinney will join the program to commend the work done by various supported projects, emphasizing the Appeal’s significance to communities across Scotland.

Viewers will be encouraged to donate during the show, with 100% of contributions directed to families in need. Every donation counts, as administrative costs are covered by STV and a portion of The Wood Foundation’s contributions, which total over £1.8 million since their partnership began in 2013.
