UPDATE: A new cocktail bar named Bar Vita has officially launched at the acclaimed Updown Farmhouse in Kent, and it’s making waves as a stunning tribute to Roman culture. Located near Deal, this unique venue is already attracting attention for its lavish design and inviting atmosphere.
This exciting addition, unveiled on November 1, 2023, is nestled within one of the farm’s restored stable blocks and can accommodate up to 30 guests at a time. The bar features a striking long marble counter, complete with stools and banquette seating on the ground floor. The mezzanine level boasts a semi-private snug that provides a view over the main seating area, enhancing the intimate experience.
In warmer months, visitors can enjoy a large covered terrace that will welcome an additional 20 guests, offering breathtaking views of the ancient woodlands surrounding Updown Farmhouse. This setup not only showcases the scenic beauty of the locale but also creates a perfect ambiance for cocktail enthusiasts.
