QNET Wins Three Stevie Awards for Urgent Anti-Scam Campaign

BREAKING: QNET has been awarded three prestigious Stevie® Awards for its urgent anti-scam campaign aimed at protecting consumers in West Africa. The recognition comes amidst escalating fraud concerns in the region, with scammers misusing QNET’s name to exploit vulnerable communities.

The 22nd Annual International Business Awards, held in October 2025, honored QNET with a Gold Stevie® Award for the campaign “QNET Against Scams: Rebuilding Trust Through Crisis Communication and Public Education in Ghana.” This initiative not only clinched the top honor in the Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Brand / Reputation Management category but also earned a Silver Stevie® Award in the Public Service category. Furthermore, QNET’s V-Africa 2025 conference received a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Corporate & Community – Community Engagement Event category.

URGENT CONTEXT: The campaign, launched in 2024 in Ghana and later expanded to Senegal and Sierra Leone, addressed the rising tide of fraudulent activities that have plagued direct selling companies in emerging markets. Scammers have been promising jobs, visas, and financial returns, falsely claiming affiliation with QNET.

QNET’s comprehensive six-month initiative utilized various media channels, including billboards, radio, television, and digital platforms, reaching multiple regions within Ghana such as Greater Accra, Ashanti, and Volta. On-ground teams even distributed educational materials in high-traffic areas while clearly distinguishing between legitimate direct selling and fraudulent schemes.

In addition, QNET established a Scam Alert portal and a WhatsApp reporting line, which received over 1,000 reports in 2025 alone. Of these, 70 cases were forwarded to authorities for investigation, highlighting the campaign’s immediate impact on community safety.

Trevor Kuna, QNET’s Chief Marketing Officer, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating,

“These awards are a validation of our efforts to fight back against those who misuse our brand name to defraud others. We are determined to protect the communities in which we operate and rebuild trust with our customers and stakeholders.”

The International Business Awards evaluated over 3,600 nominations from more than 60 countries this year, showcasing the campaign’s global significance and impact. With QNET operating in over 25 countries since its inception in 1998, the company continues to innovate in consumer protection and fraud prevention.

As QNET moves forward, industry watchers are keen to see how the company will further enhance its consumer protection strategies and expand its educational outreach. The fight against scams is far from over, and QNET’s commitment to safeguarding its reputation and community trust remains crucial.
