Stevan Jovetić Urges Vasilije Adžić to Seek Loan from Juventus

UPDATE: Stevan Jovetić has just announced that Vasilije Adžić should consider a loan move away from Juventus to showcase his talent. This urgent message comes ahead of Juventus’ critical Champions League match against Pafos on December 9, 2025.

Jovetić, speaking to Italian media, emphasized that a loan would provide Adžić with more playing time, which is essential for his development. “Vasilije is a good guy with the right mindset. He works hard and deserves more playing time,” Jovetić stated. He also highlighted the pressure Adžić faces at Juventus, where opportunities to play are scarce.

This season, Adžić has only started twice—once against Atalanta in Serie A and another time against Bode/Glimt in the Champions League. Since his last match in Norway, he has been benched for three consecutive games, raising concerns over his growth.

Jovetić criticized the handling of Adžić’s situation, stating, “You can’t bench a player for making one mistake. He helped the team win against Inter, a match with high emotional stakes. What message does this send?” He recommends that Adžić consult with Juventus to assess his future options.

Echoing the advice of football legends Dejan Savićević and Mirko Vučinić, Jovetić believes a January loan to a mid-table team would be ideal for Adžić. “He needs to relax, enjoy the game, and prove himself by playing more regularly,” he added.

Jovetić also praised Adžić’s potential, likening him to Frank Lampard for his physical strength and playmaking ability. “He just needs to play,” Jovetić reiterated.

Looking ahead, Jovetić is preparing for Juventus’ encounter with Pafos, noting their strong squad and tactical acumen. “Pafos is a strong team with an ambitious management that aims to bring in top players. Their coach, Juan Carlos Carcedo, is excellent,” he said.

He highlighted Pafos’ key players, including David Luiz and Mislav Oršić, emphasizing their speed and quality. “They will come to Turin aiming to secure points, especially as they need them,” Jovetić warned.

As this situation unfolds, the football community will be closely watching how Juventus handles Adžić’s future and the outcome of their crucial match against Pafos. Stay tuned for more updates.
