David Price, aged 43, Adam Walker, aged 38, and Joanne McGregor, aged 40, were arrested during a coordinated operation by West Midlands Police early Thursday morning.

These suspects are set to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today, December 20, 2023. They face serious charges including conspiracy to burgle, conspiracy to handle stolen goods, and possession of criminal property.

The investigation, dubbed Operation Target, has revealed a shocking pattern of crime that began in February 2023. Authorities confirm that the gang has executed 27 raids, successfully stealing cash from 14 locations, including a notable incident at a Santander branch on Stourbridge High Street on June 25.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated, “We’ve charged three people from Wolverhampton as part of an investigation into nearly 30 raids on cash machines across the country by a gang which stole more than £300,000.” The police used specialist equipment to break into buildings housing cash machines, targeting areas such as the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, the West Mercia Police area, and Wales.

The operation not only led to the arrests of Price, Walker, and McGregor but also involved the detention of two additional suspects, who have since been released on bail.
