URGENT: Two Arrested After Stabbing Rampage on Huntingdon Train

BREAKING: Two men have been arrested following a shocking stabbing attack on a train bound for London King’s Cross, which took place on November 1, 2023. The incident unfolded around 7:42 PM as the train, traveling from Doncaster, approached Huntingdon station.

A massive emergency response was triggered, with ten passengers rushed to the hospital, leading to widespread panic among travelers. Witnesses described horrifying scenes, with one recalling, “there was blood everywhere,” as people scrambled for safety.

Authorities confirm that two suspects, aged 32 and 35, remain in custody on suspicion of attempted murder. Both are UK nationals, with the first being a black British national and the second of Caribbean descent.

Out of the ten victims, nine initially faced life-threatening injuries, but four have since been discharged. Tragically, two individuals remain in critical condition, raising serious concerns about their recovery.

British Transport Police Superintendent John Loveless stated that investigations are ongoing, but there is currently no evidence to suggest that the stabbings were part of a terrorist act. “This is a British Transport Police investigation, and we continue to work to establish at pace the full circumstances and motivations that have led to this incident,” he affirmed.

Passengers are urged to defer non-essential travel and check service updates before heading to the station. Tickets for affected dates will remain valid for travel until November 4, and LNER is offering support for those needing reimbursement for hotels or taxis.
