The victim, whose age has not been disclosed, suffered a head injury during an altercation involving knives between three young men. He was transported to a hospital where medical professionals assessed his injuries as not life-threatening or life-changing.

The attack caused significant disruption for commuters, resulting in the closure of Colliers Wood station and delays on the Northern Line between Kennington and Morden. Officers from the British Transport Police (BTP) were present at the location throughout the morning, managing the situation and ensuring the safety of the public.
