She is also lovingly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and an extensive circle of friends and colleagues.
Dr. Molloy graduated from **University College Dublin (UCD)** in the summer of 2023 with a Bachelor of Medicine. She began her internship at **University Hospital Galway** in June, quickly making a positive impression on patients and staff alike. Colleagues described her as “a beautiful young lady, inside and out.”
In heartfelt messages shared online, a nurse at UHG expressed her sorrow, stating, “I had the pleasure of knowing Grace while working on St. Gerard’s ward. She was always so kind, helpful, and friendly to everyone she met.” Another colleague conveyed deep condolences, recalling their first day working together and noting the respect and love she garnered from both peers and patients.
A classmate from UCD shared, “Sincerest condolences to the extended Molloy and McHugh families. Grace was great fun and clearly loved being part of the UCD class of 2025.” Reflecting on her vibrant personality, a close friend remarked, “She lit up every room she was in. Her laugh was contagious.”

Dr. Molloy’s funeral Mass is scheduled for **January 29, 2024**, at **10:30 AM** in the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace on Putland Road, Bray, followed by burial at **Redford Cemetery** in Greystones. Her family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to **Beaumont Hospital Foundation** and **Organ Donation Ireland**.
