Enjoy Iconic Films Under the Stars at UK Open-Air Cinemas

Movie enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting summer as tickets for the UK’s largest open-air cinema, organized by Adventure Cinema, go on sale. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to watch beloved films under the stars at 57 locations throughout the country, starting from May 7.

The open-air cinema experience will feature three notable stops in the area. The series kicks off at Burghley House, near Stamford, from June 5 to 7. Following that, the screening will move to Belton Estate, near Grantham, from June 19 to 21, and finally to Lincoln Castle from August 6 to 9.

At Burghley House, attendees can enjoy a variety of films, including family-friendly titles like The Gruffalo and Sing, as well as hit musicals such as Wicked and Mamma Mia!. The classic Pride and Prejudice will also make an appearance, offering a touch of romance to the lineup.

Belton Estate will feature a similar mix, showcasing Dirty Dancing, a sing-along to Wicked, and the equally beloved Sense and Sensibility. At Lincoln Castle, the festivities kick off with another screening of Dirty Dancing, followed by The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Mamma Mia!, and a special performance titled Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration.

Food and drink will be available on-site, allowing visitors to enjoy a complete cinema experience. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own picnic or snacks, although alcohol and glass items are prohibited. Premium ticket holders will receive deckchairs, while those with regular tickets have the option to bring their own seating. For an added touch of luxury, the director’s view tickets offer a front-row seat in a director’s chair, complete with a blanket and a treat bag.

Tickets went on sale from February 26, starting at a price of £9.80. Movie lovers are encouraged to purchase their tickets online in advance to secure their spot for these memorable summer nights.
