The Foo Fighters have officially announced their return to Australia for a series of concerts in November 2026, as part of their global Take Cover Tour. This announcement follows a successful one-off performance in Tasmania, where the band captivated fans last month.
The highly anticipated tour will kick off on November 5, 2026, at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. The band will then perform at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville on November 7, followed by a concert at Accor Stadium in Sydney on November 10. Additional performances are scheduled at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle on November 12, Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on November 14, and Coopers Stadium in Adelaide on November 17. The Australian leg of the tour will conclude with a show at HBF Park in Perth on January 25, 2027.
In addition to their Australian dates, the Foo Fighters will also perform two shows in New Zealand. The first concert will take place at Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch on January 19, 2027, followed by a final performance at Western Springs Stadium in Auckland on January 22, 2027.
The Foo Fighters began their global tour in May 2026, which included performances across the United States, Norway, Sweden, Poland, France, and the Netherlands. They are set to continue their tour with shows in the UK, Italy, Spain, and Canada before returning to the US for a national tour in August.
Known for their strong support of local music, the Foo Fighters have invited Australian bands, including Full Flower Moon Band, Belair Lip Bombs, and the all-female group The Bouys, to join them as support acts during their Australian shows. Pre-sale tickets for the Foo Fighters Take Cover Australian Tour will be available for Telstra Plus members starting on February 20, 2026. A pre-sale for Frontier Members will begin on February 23, 2026, with general ticket sales starting on February 25, 2026.
